Region: Jumilla, Spain
The grapes selected for this wine come from low yielding vineyards for their quality that lends to the intensity of this wine. They come from Jumilla, a small region on the Mediterranean coast of south-eastern Spain. The wine is a blend of 50% Monastrell, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20%Tempranillo and 10% Merlot. Each variety is aged in 80% French and 20% American Oak barrels for 12 months. 14.5% ABV. Medium to full-bodied, dark garnet in color. Aromas of black cherry and licorice, with jammy dark fruit flavors and a touch of cinnamon. The medium tannins and acidity and balance with the fruit make this very easy to drink.
