Region: Southern Australia
A very nice wine with an interesting story. Part of the Two Lands selection that gets its name from a collaboration from two sides of the world. Australia’s Jacob’s Creek winemaker Bernard Hickin and California winemaker Ehren Jordan partnered to craft this full-flavored wine. Fruit from the Padthaway, Wrattonbully, and Coonawarra growing regions was picked later in the season to allow the sugars to increase on the vine and reduce acidity. Fermentation was stopped early reducing the dryness and bringing out the fuller taste. This along with some time in French Oak provides the complex rich flavors. This wine has aromas and taste of melon and a buttery nutty with citrus. 13.2 % alcohol. Enjoy this wine now, but it can also be stored for 5 to 10 years. I really like this one.
