The blend captured my attention on the shelf, but the rich aromas and taste make this a truly wonderful wine. Falesco was founded in 1979 by Riccardo and Renzo Cotarella (brothers), and Falesco’s most popular wine is Vitiano. The use of young fruit lend to the acidity but that along with the tannins make this a well balanced wine. The wine is processed in stainless steel, and aged in Nevers Oak barrels for three months. This is a quality wine at a quality price.
