I ran across the opportunity to try several Rodney Strong wines and save on all of the bottles, so this was my first try. Rodney Strong Vineyards in Sonoma County was founded by Rodney Strong in 1959 was purchased by the Tom Klein family in 1989. The winery farms and sources grapes from the Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley, and Chalk Hill.  The warm, rocky, climate contributes to the richness of this Cabernet Sauvignon. This Cab is very good; bold and well balanced, with long finish. It was just as good the next day when I finished the bottle.
