Region: South Island, New Zealand
Suavignon Blanc is one of my favorite varieties of wine. I enjoy the aromatic nose and crisp flavors that typically accompany this wine. Frenzy is definitely one I will have again. The grapes are sourced from the South Island including the famous Marlborough region where the volcanic Greywacke stones and alluvial river silt soil is ideally suited for this variety. The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and and bottled young to highlight the fruit flavors. With aromas of melon, lime, and a touch of grass and earthiness, and crisp flavors of peach, melon, and light herbs. 13.0% ABV. This wine has nice acidity and is very drinkable. Would pair well with any seafood or sushi. For the quality price I will definitely enjoy it again in the future.
