This is a wonderful wine that would be great paired with seafood or pasta, or just enjoyed on its own. It has immediate upfront citrus and fruit flavors that transform to minerality and a crisp finish. This wine comes from the Tiefenbrunner Castel Turmhof Winery, named after the ancient castle known today as the home of the Tiefenbrunner family.  This winery includes a 60 acre vineyard, with an average age of the vines of 20 years. The soil composition is that of a calcium carbonate, silt, sand, gravel, and clay loam. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks and it is then aged for four months on the lees in concrete vats.
